How I love the little tree, that everyday brings shade to me; and covers me from the sun's hot rays, to bring me shelter day by day.
How I love this little tree. The birds perch high, and sing to me; from branches, bark, and leafy bloom; sing sacred songs in my sweet room.
How I love this little tree. Where I meet God and He meets me... and where I write a thousand words; as I listen to the sound of birds.
How I love this little tree. It gently sways, and brings some breeze. As if a fan upon branches sway; to cool me from the heat of day.
How I love this little tree. It's beauty is revealed to me, and comfort brings me here below; as I commune with God; I know... I love this little tree!
