To Abba

Abba,

The best of my ability to worship you is not sufficient; for we are all frail human beings. The best I have to offer you is flawed, but I choose to give you the best I can today.

One day you'll receive perfect praise. One day we will be like you and have the necessary spiritual ability bestowed upon, and within us to glorify you with our entire being.

I am thankful for, "that day"...A day I look forward to with great anticipation... but until then I offer this... the sacrifice of an imperfect love; that was bought by your perfect love, washed clean and made holy. I will lift up these worn and feeble hands, this wrinkled, blotchy face and this heart of love to you alone. The God who so loves. I will love you with my best. Right here and right now and I purpose to love you eternally.

Abba, hold me. (like my dear husband said yesterday) but show up today. Show up, show out and inhabit the praise of your weak, and wounded child. Amen.

Abba's Loving Arms

How precious!...

The scene of a loving father, Jake... as he carried his daughter, Reya carefully in his arms, on his way to his truck.

Reya's little braids, bouncing up and down; as she was held in her father's strong arms.

How like our Heavenly Father to paint such a living picture of His wondrous, divine love!

Jesus purchased the way in which we too, can call Him, Abba.

"Our Father"...

Just like Jake and Reya, we have a Heavenly Father who carries us in His strong and mighty arms; where we are sheltered and lifted high above all harm.

We, like Reya... can smile, and enjoy the ride.

Abba,

Let us realize that we are carried by you today, while underneath us are your "Everlasting Arms" of Love.
